Hit the gym or hit the streets and get take a lap around the neighborhood. This will really get you pumped up and at the same time, give you a boost in energy. If you are a larger person, add a couple more glasses. You can also try tea which is what I prefer to do. This will be so soothing for you and you’d forget about stress. Know your stress hot spots and trigger points.

You can trick your body into relaxing by using heavy breathing. Breathe in slowly for a count of 7 then breathe out for a count of 11. Repeat the 7-11 breathing until your heart rate slows down, your sweaty palms dry off, and things start to feel more normal.

A typical stress management program will include training in the areas of: relaxation technique, assertiveness, healthy lifestyle, time management and problem solving. Learning self-hypnosis or meditation are two great stress management techniques that anyone can learn.
