Rep. Steve Stivers has acknowledged that he would be eager to make vaccination a necessity before receiving incentive checks.
Only one hundred sixty-three million coronavirus incentive checks payout to date have helped many financially wounded Americans amid the ongoing pandemic.
Americans are not getting vaccinated against coronavirus which could be partly to blame for many people still clamoring to see a fourth or even a fifth round of stimulus checks.
As per White House chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci, to be free from coronavirus roughly 75% to 80% of the population needs to get vaccinated. The purpose is to have enough people become immune to a disease, often through vaccination or natural infection, to make its spread unlikely. In this way, the complete community is saved, including those who are not immune, said Harvard Medical School.
However, it seems impossible to get the optimum levels of immunity until this summer because a quarter of Americans are refusing to get vaccinated, as per a recent NPR/Marist poll. Moreover, another 5% are “unsure” about whether they would get the shot.
Contrary to this framework, people have carried the idea of using stimulus checks as pay incentives to get Americans vaccinated.
