She was known on the video-sharing site as @roeurboat3 and was killed after a tree branch fell on top of the roof of her car as she drove through 50mph winds.
In a press release obtained by E! News, Farmington Police Chief Kenneth Charles reported that the high winds toppled the limb of a pine tree onto the roof of the 2015 Nissan Rogue Rochelle was driving.
According to authorities, who described the incident as “tragic and unique,” Rochelle likely was killed instantly.
The Police Chief said that there was nothing Rochelle could have done to avoid the accident from happening.
Rochelle had more than 1.2 million likes and 123,000 followers on TikTok.
Rochelle’s fiancée and fellow TikToker Britannie Lynn filmed herself putting up a bouquet of followers with the couple’s wedding invitation at the crash site memorial.
Brittanie posted several videos in tribute to her fiancée, captioning one “Rest easy my love. I don’t know how we’re going to live life without you. But we have the best guardian angel to get us through it.”
“I can’t eat or sleep. All I can do is make videos and wish you were here with me #rip #myangel,” she added.
In a candid video she sobbed as she thanked fans for their support and explained the circumstance behind Rochelle’s death.
She said: “Thank you all so much for keeping her memory alive and reaching out. I appreciate all of you and love our TikTok fam. That being said, a lot of you have asked what happened….
“I did go and get her stuff out of the car today so now that that’s happened… she was driving.
“And we were having a wind storm. And a tree fell on her car. She wasn’t in pain. She died instantly.”
Recalling the tragic moment, Britannie said: “I heard the crash and then there was nothing.
“Thank you again for your support.”
