In a dark, abandoned room sat a lonesome puppy trying to hide from his pain and the world. The severe mange and neglect in life made him unsure of everything, and he was so timid with his tail tucked under between his back legs. Trying to win this boy’s trust would be quite the challenge.
But if anyone could do it, it’d be the rescuers from Animal Aid Unlimited! They were so gentle and careful and did what they could to let him know it’d be okay. The dog’s soft eyes told of his desire for affection, but he was just so sick and stressed and needed care more than anything.
After getting used to his medicated baths, the good boy was finally able to relax and eat. And then the best sign; his little tail started wagging! The pup started trusting everyone more each day, and he recovered his exuberant spirit. When you see Demetrius now, you won’t believe it!
