Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz’s “wingman” Joel Greenberg admitted the congressman paid for S*x with an underage girl, according to an alleged confession letter revealed on Thursday.
The bombshell letter obtained by The Daily Beast is said to have been given to Donald Trump’s confidante Roger Stone in a bid to get a pardon from then-President.
New messages between Stone and Greenberg allegedly show that the disgraced tax collector was willing to pay Trump’s longtime friend – a convicted felon – $250,000 in Bitcoin to help secure the pardon, The Daily Beast revealed.
The letter was drafted after Greenberg asked Roger Stone, a close ally of former President Donald Trump, for help obtaining a pardon during the final months of Trump’s term, the outlet reported.
“On more than one occasion, this individual was involved in S*xual activities with several of the other girls, the congressman from Florida’s 1st Congressional District and myself,” Greenberg’s bombshell letter read -referring to a S*xual partner who was 17-years-old at the time of the alleged encounter with Gaetz.
“From time to time, gas money or gifts, rent or partial tuition payments were made to several of these girls, including the individual who was not yet 18″, according to the letter.
“I did see the acts occur firsthand and Venmo transactions, Cash App or other payments were made to these girls on behalf of the Congressman,” Greenberg allegedly adds.
According to reports of The Daily Beast, drafts of the letter were reportedly sent to Roger Stone as part of a push to appeal to former President Donald Trump to pardon him. However, the drafts were verified as authentic by a certified forensic document examiner and handwriting expert, who matched Greenberg’s penmanship to two public records requests.
“The person who authored the forms has been identified as the person who authored the letter,” said the handwriting expert, Wendy Carlson.
Greenberg appears to admit that he, Gaetz and others engaged in S*xual acts with a minor whom they allegedly thought was 19-years-old.
Gaetz is currently under investigation by the Department of Justice over alleged S*xual misconduct and claims he broke S*x trafficking laws.
