A new public recall has been issued by the Food and Drug Administration, and this time it’s for a bedroom enhancement drug.
The voluntary recall comes from Bit & Bet, and it’s for all lots of Thumbs Up 7 Blue 69K. The FDA conducted an analysis on the product and found that it contains undeclared sildenafil and tadalafil. These undeclared ingredients are known as phosphodiesterase (PDE-5) and are used to treat male erectile dysfunction.
The FDA listing on it website states that consumers with underlying health conditions who take Thumbs Up 7 Blue 69K may experience serious health complications, as PDE-5 can interact with “nitrates found in some prescription drugs lowering blood pressure to dangerous levels that may be life-threatening.” The FDA says that if you own this product to stop taking it immediately and throw them away.
