The new recall comes from Dole Fresh Vegetables, and as described on the FDA post, it’s a voluntary recall for its Dole Endless Summer Salad Kit. The reason for the recall is because the product may contain undeclared allergens such as fish and egg. These allergens are described in the FDA post to be potentially “life-threatening” for some people if they consume the product.
At the moment, there have been no reports of illnesses linked to the Dole Endless Summer Salad Kit. If you happen to own this product, it’s recommended that you don’t consume it and throw it out.
