May be many of you didn’t hear this disease in your life time. It is because many people especially women may prone to Genital herpes disease but they don’t know even in their whole life period. What is genital herpes disease? First of all we are going to put some light on the conditions and disease of genital herpes.

Genital herpes is a sexually transmitted disease caused by the herpes simplex virus type 1 HSV 1 or type 2 HSV 2. In most cases genital herpes disease is caused by HSV 2. The simplex virus of genital herpes disease is transmitted through intimate contact with mucous-covered linings of the mouth or the vagina or the genital skin. The virus of STD (genital herpes) enters in the lining or vagina skin through microscopic tears and then travels to the nerves roots near the spinal cord and settles there permanently.

According to a recent medical research, the conditions of genital herpes disease are more common in women from 14-49 age groups.

The genital herpes simplex virus is transmitted through the effected partner. It can be transmitted during close personal contact through the exchange of saliva, semen, cervical fluid or vesicle fluid. The virus of genital herpes starts showing its symptoms with skin burning, replication and infection.

If we talk about the conditions of genital herpes disease, we may notice some of the common symptoms like: typical redness and blisters. For your help and understanding, here are some common and most occurred symptoms of genital herpes disease.

  • Sores near or in the genital area
  • Small red areas or spots appear and they may be itchy and painful
  • Swelling
  • Small blisters filled with fluid in the rash area
  • The blisters can be open up and cause unbearable pain
  • The blisters burst and turn into small ulcers
  • Fever
  • Slight discharge

If any one of you or your partner is observing any of these above symptoms of genital herpes disease or you may feel difficulty and burn whilst your intercourse, consult your doctor at first.

Many of us don’t get genital herpes as a serious disease and satisfy ourselves by self-medication or by using any skin ointment. This is not the right solution. Consult a good gynecologist or a family physician and discuss this problem in detail. Don’t hesitate because its matter of your health as you know health is all wealth.

One more thing, avoid sex and any type of intercourse when suffering from genital herpes disease.
