Party dresses come in all lengths, styles and colors. You can’t possibly own just one to be satisfied. With the summer sun out to play, it’s the right time to pick up some sexy party dresses. From long dresses to short dresses- they will all be handy for rocking the night away.
Fabrics: If you really want to glam things up this season, then go for dresses in fabrics of lace, chiffon, satin and silk. Lace dresses look super glam and oh so pretty and sexy all at once. Lengths: The age old debate between long to the floor- dresses and the bum grazing mini, short dresses will probably never end with a firm decision being made. Only you can decide which dresses are for you. However, before deciding I will say that you should think about what type of party you’re going to. Long dresses tend to appear far more formal looking and are wonderful for parties which are leaning towards cocktails and banter! If you’re going to be bopping the night away on the dance floor, then I suggest you opt for short dresses instead.
Styles: Dresses come in many styles and I suggest going for party dresses which tuck you in at the waist and then expand out around your hips and thighs. FITTED dresses at the bust are flattering done right whether its v neck, one sided, high neck, strapless or long sleeved!
Colours: For your party dresses, I suggest going for COLOR! CLD (colored little dress) it people! I’m so tired of seeing black everywhere at parties. It’s the summer and there’s no better time to break out the color! Dresses in colors of: red, coral, vibrant green, yellow, silver and nude are firm favorites of mine this season.
Accessories: Remember to accessorize simpler dresses with some earrings. I would avoid necklaces especially when the party dresses have detailing on them around the neck and shoulder area. It can all look a bit too much and distracting to the eye.
