9 Jewelry Trends That Are Too Good to Get Over in 2019

Looking back at old pictures of myself, I can pinpoint the exact piece of jewelry I was obsessed with at any given time. Remember when you never took that stretch choker off, or the week you wore a silver ring on every single finger? Some trends come and go quickly, but some have staying power. In 2019, for example, shells extend way beyond the beach and the Summer months. A few years ago, I could’ve never predicted that a pair of conch hoops would finish off an evening gown, but then again, I’m not complaining. We’re also excited to mix and match gemstone rainbow rings and pile on the camp bracelets this season, bringing a little more playfulness to our look. Ahead, scroll down to brush up on what’s new and now, or jump ahead to the category you know you want to shop.

1 . Jewelry Trend 2019: Gold Hoops

2. Jewelry Trend 2019: Coin Pendants

Something tells us that Yeezy led this trend into popularity when Kim Kardashian debuted the eye-catching, hammered pendants in 2017. Now that the look is a little more polished, we encourage you to take a tip from Romee and choose differently sized circles to layer.

3. Jewelry Trend 2019: Rainbow Rings

BaubleBar’s Alidia ring soared to popularity at the beginning of 2019, and now the options are pretty endless when you’re looking for finger candy. Mix and match your gemstones and don’t be afraid to try stacking in order to create a colorblock effect.

4. Jewelry Trend 2019: Sculptural, Geometric Earrings

Whether yours are lucite chandelier earrings or hammered shapes that give off the illusion of building blocks, you’re nailing the trend just as well as Tracee Ellis Ross. Pull back your hair to play up the drama.

5. Jewelry Trend 2019: Shell Jewelry

When it comes to this trend, you can either shop the more ornate, vintage-inspired baubles or real shell strands that will remind you of Summers at the beach. Choose a conch pendant, an oyster ring, or a puka necklace and never look back — you don’t have to stow these pieces away on colder days. Instead, wear them proudly.

6. Jewelry Trend 2019: Crystal Clusters

Whether it’s a chunky earring or a multi-stone necklace, turn up the glamour and catch everyone’s eye with your sparkly burst. While these pieces immediately feel like evening wear, the idea is to team them up with your hoodies and jeans to bring on the unexpected.

7. Jewelry Trend 2019: Layered Bracelets

Channel Summer camp vibes and stack on the bracelets like Danielle and Jodie of DANNIJO. Mix and match with colorful beads, shells, and bangles, and whip out that tie-dye print to really commit to nostalgia.

8. Jewelry Trend 2019: Delicate Charms

Decorate yourself with tiny stars that remind you of the twinkling night sky or your favorite constellations. Ethereal symbols shouldn’t be worn loudly, but with subtlety, no matter the occasion.

9. Jewelry Trend 2019: Personalized

It may be thanks to the resurgence of early 2000s trends that we’re collecting monograms again. Don’t be afraid to choose letters that are big and bold. Spark conversation when you wear someone else’s initial, instead of your own.
