The fashionable folks at Louis Vuitton recently tweeted about their limited-edition bags being up for pre-order. And having reported about some of their other merch from the S/S ’14 collection including one NN, we got curious.
Our style findings reveal that not only is the dynamic drawstring a throwback to the iconic Noé purse, it is now a hot favorite for everyone, from Sofia Coppola and Catherine Deneuve to Giselle Bundchen. The illustrious ladies have shot shorts, each showing one woman caressing her pick of the Noé-inspired purse. But if we were to take our pick, we’d say nothing less than limited edition.
Descended directly from the catwalk, these Marc Jacobs babies were a Spring/ Summer revelation. A connoisseur’s delight and goodbye goodies alike, they were presented by the designer before he passed haute baton of creative director to Nicolas Ghesquière. That said we’re wickedly eyeing these strictly black bucket bags for reasons beyond the special.
For one, they include an embossed ‘Spring Summer 2014 collection‘ signature on the interior base. For another, they come in crazy compositions from feathers to crocodile, alligator and Swarovski crystals. A ‘top secret’ price tag could’ve given us a third reason but deeper digging prevailed, price tags touch a jaw-dropping $31,500.
