Rima Fakih is this year’s Miss USA 2010. But within 24 hours of her being crowned she has landed into hot waters with her Pole dancing competition photos from 2007.
Rima Fakih is the first Muslim American and second Arab-American to win the Miss USA title. She was born in 1986 in the town of Sirfa, South Lebanon. She did her bachelor of arts in economics with minor in Business Administration from University of Michigan Dearborn.
Her crown seems to be in jeopardy after the images of her pole dancing have surfaced. Good news for her is that in the images she is fully clothed and the audiences are all women. Also the organizers of the competition have confirmed the fact that all the participants are always fully clothed. This probably means that her crown will stay with her but people will be searching online for her pole dancing photos rather than her swimsuit photos.
