The American country singer, Carrie Underwood tied the marital knot with hockey star Mike Fisher on Saturday night at Ritz-Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, a luxury resort outside of Atlanta, Georgia.
“We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family” said the newly wed couple Mike and Carrie Fisher with a genial felicity.
The blushingly beautiful newly wed bride, Carrie Underwood wore a stunning lace gown created by Monique Lhuillier, well known for her lacy bridal designs.
The important guests of the evening were country music luminaries Faith Hill and Garth Brooks. The American idol judges, Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul. Underwood met Fisher in 2008 and proposed her in December 2009.
