If Rita Ora doesn’t like being compared to Rihanna she should stop repeating the movements of the Bajan star. Ora’s latest copycat action came as she visited a well known tattoo artist, that Rihanna has long used, and had some new ink done. The Hot Right Now singer was keen to show off her latest design, which appeared to be a dove, on the back of her neck. The 25-year-old had the art work done in New York City on Tuesday night by renowned tattoo artist Bang Bang.
After getting her ink done Rita tweeted: ‘My new baby bird thank you @bangbangnyc‘. However, with her small bird ready to fly, Rita then had to do what all celebrities do when they get art work created by Bang Bang. Ora picked up the needle and gave Bang Bang, real name Keith McCurdy, a matching tattoo, as is the tradition which has been carried out by stars including Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Nicole Scherzinger and Rihanna. She captioned the picture: ‘His and hers! HA look at the difference… It’s the once in a lifetime Rita Ora tattoo HA! #neveragain only for bang. Haaaaaaa‘.
Rita’s tattoo isn’t the only new thing in her life to smile about as she is reportedly smitten with her new man Calvin Harris. She recently started dating the Scottish DJ and the couple are now said to be inseparable after spending the weekend in Las Vegas, where he was performing at the Grand Hotel’s new club Hakkasan on Saturday night. A source told the New York Post’s Page Six: ‘She was in the DJ booth during his entire performance and the two were seen getting really cosy and kissing.’
Another source told The Sun newspaper: ‘It’s early days, but they’re keen on each other’, and revealed friends are already calling them the ‘perfect couple.’ The ‘Sweet Nothing’ hitmaker, 29, posted a photo of Rita boarding his jet on Sunday with the caption: ‘You again!’ The couple has also reportedly enjoyed a string of low-key dates at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Hollywood. Rita and Calvin initially clashed last year when she revealed she rejected his track ‘Call My Name’ and he later dismissed her comment on Twitter, writing: ‘She made that up.’ But the couple, who have several mutual friends including Ellie Goulding, appear to have put the incident behind them.
