L’Wren Scott’s death has been confirmed as suicide A post mortem conducted today has ruled that the 49-year-old fashion designer’s cause of death was hanging, New York City authorities have announced Police earlier said there was no sign of foul play and no note was found when L’Wren’s assistant discovered her in her Manhattan apartment Monday morning (17.03.14).

“We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves. She had great presence and her talent was much admired, not least by me “I have been touched by the tributes that people have paid to her, and also the personal messages of support that I have received. I will never forget her, Mick.” L’Wren – who was reportedly almost $6 million in debt when she died – had cancelled her London Fashion Week show in January and is said to have been planning to close her business, LS Fashion LTD, this week.
