The singer – who has admitted to being heavily influenced by the star and even got a tattoo of Ziggy Stardust on her side just a few days ago – went through nine of his classic songs in a stunning six minute performance that ended with ‘Heroes’. Backed by Nile Rodgers, who produced Bowie’s ‘Let’s Dance’ album – Lady Gaga sang ‘Space Oddity’, ‘Changes’, ‘Ziggy Stardust’, ‘Suffragette City’, ‘Rebel, Rebel’, ‘Fashion’, ‘Fame’ and ‘Let’s Dance’. Her conclusion ‘Heroes’ drew a standing ovation from the star-studded audience at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Lady Gaga channelled Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust persona with a bright red wig and went through a number of costume changes.
