Kylie Jenner’s life as a licensed driver isn’t starting off so good. Just two weeks after passing her driving test earlier this month, the 16-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was involved in a car accident yesterday afternoon in Calabasas, Calif.
Jenner was driving her black Mercedes SUV when she rear-ended another car, TMZ first reported. There were three cars total involved in the accident, which took place on a residential street. The Lost Hills Sherriff’s department confirms to E! News that there was an accident call in Calabasas yesterday afternoon. There were no injuries, nothing illegal and nothing unusual. Information was exchanged between parties involved. One of the parties had left before the sheriff’s department arrived.
In photos of Kylie’s car post-accident, minimal damage can be seen on the SUV, which was taken to a mechanic after the crash. “What do I have to do to not get bothered by something for one day,” Kylie tweeted earlier today. She followed up by writing, “I still shed a tear every once in a while.”
Kylie got her driver’s license earlier this month. Her big sis Kourtney Kardashian tweeted a pic of Kylie behind the wheel on Aug. 12 with the caption, “Look out world! @kyliejenner is a licensed driver!”
