Kim Kardashian got more than she bargained for when she made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday. The reality star was treated to a surprise baby shower, complete with balloons and virgin mimosas, and the talk show host humorously presented her with ‘the big book of baby names that start with K’. While Kim may be revelling in her fame, she has revealed that her baby with Kanye West will not be appearing on her reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
She told Jimmy: ‘The baby is not going to be on our show. When he or she decides that’s what they want to do, then that will be a decision.’ Kim then gestured to her sister Kourtney, who joined her for the interview, and backpedalled as she added: ‘I love seeing Mason and Penelope on TV. Mason is the highlight of our show, I think.’ The 32-year-old explained that while she and Kanye want to keep their bundle of joy out of the public eye, they would ‘support’ their child should it decide to seek fame later in life.
‘It’s a tough decision,’ Kim said. ‘From the start, as of now, that’s just a personal choice that Kanye and I have made… We’re going to try to keep it as private as possible.’ On Sunday night’s Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, the reality star wailed to her elder sister that she was worried her ‘ass’ would grow during pregnancy. But for now, the indefatigable hero of the modern fairytale of our times is making the most of her new curves and not shying away from fitted, short or fancy items.
And while the temptation to cover up in a roomy maxi-dress may be strong, Kim put her best platform forward to show off a stunning black lace mini-dress on as she headed to film her interview. The reality doyenne sat down with the ever popular host and her sister, Kourtney, 33. And she also seemed to pick up tennis ace Serena Williams, 31, along the way, Tweeting a picture of the two of them together with the caption: ‘Fun girls night out!!! But where’s my nose? Lol’
The picture was so overexposed that Kim’s nose had disappeared which she explained was ‘too flashy.’ She was no doubt eager to show the results of her toil with trainer Tracy Anderson, and it’s clear to see that her legs are looking in fine fettle. Kim set them off to perfection by wearing a pair of pointed black shoes with gold straps that really accentuated her slim ankles. But it was the Victoriana style lace dress that was the real winner and a bit of a departure for Kim Kardashian.
The little frock was short without being tacky and sweet without overtly sexy overtones. Earlier in the day, Kim – who had just returned from Paris – put her jet lag to good use as she made an early start on her exercise regime.
