Christine Baumgartner has been photographed without her wedding ring on, just days after she filed for divorce from her husband Kevin Costner after 19 years of marriage.
The model was spotted for the first time since news of the split broke, as she was seen running errands in Santa Barbara, California, on Wednesday.
Christine’s outing comes amid reports she gave an ultimatum to Kevin and urged him to quit Yellowstone to try and save their marriage.
She reportedly told him to leave the popular TV show because his busy work schedule was impacting their family. The 68-year-old actor has played John Dutton on the show since it debuted back in 2018.
It seems Kevin may have finally listened to Christine’s pleas as it’s been reported he won’t be returning to Yellowstone after the current season finishes. There had been speculation in recent months about growing tension between Kevin and showrunner Taylor Sheridan.
In pictures obtained by the Daily Mail, Christine was seen sporting a casual look as she wore a pair of baggy white jeans and a grey jumper just two days after filing for divorce.
While Christine decided to ditch her ring, Kevin was in fact seen wearing his wedding band just one day before his wife filed for divorce. The Bodyguard actor posed for snaps with fans in Las Vegas before the decision to separate from Christine, 49, was announced.
Kevin had visited the Milano Restaurant and Bar in Vegas with cast and crew after a special screening of his new western film project, Horizon: An American Saga. In the pictures, he’s seen wearing a white cowboy hat along with a blue shirt and light blue denim jeans.
Kevin was reportedly “blindsided” by Christine’s decision to file for a divorce. The couple, who tied the knot in 2004, are asking for joint custody of their three children – Cayden, 15, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 12.
Kevin’s publicist, Arnold Robinson, confirmed the divorce news as he said: “It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage.”
