Rumours had been swirling that Katie Holmes had started a surprise romance with Jake Gyllenhaal. However it seems the actress isn’t moving on with anyone special just yet. A representative for the 33-year-old has told Gossip Cop the claims are ‘not true at all’. It had been reported that Katie, who divorced from Tom Cruise last year, had been spending time at Jake’s West Village apartment on dinner dates.
But it seems the star is instead focussing on her Broadway role in Dead Accounts and her daughter Suri for the time-being. Katie was seen with her six-year-old on Wednesday, making her way into the Music Box Theater where she is currently performing. The brunette beauty was wrapped up warm in a navy coat, which she teamed with skinny jeans, black ankle boots and a pair of Jackie O style sunglasses.
She carried little Suri, who was dressed in a pink puffa jacket, trousers and mittens, along with sheepskin boots, into the venue. Although Katie is currently busy with her onstage role, she will soon have a lot more free time on her hands as Dead Accounts is schedule to close on January 6. The show will be closing six weeks after it opened as a result of poor ticket sales. Meanwhile, it has also been suggested that Tom has moved on following the split. He reportedly was seen dancing with restaurant manager Cynthia Jorge over the Christmas period and is said to be ‘enamoured’, according to In Touch. – Dailymail
