Kate Middleton has quietly resumed her royal duties for the first time since completing her cancer treatment, marking a significant milestone in her recovery. According to the Royal Family’s official activity log, the Court Circular, the Princess of Wales recently met with her Centre for Early Childhood team and Kensington Palace staff at Windsor Castle to discuss her ongoing early years project, according to The New York Post.

“The Princess of Wales, Joint Patron, The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales, this afternoon held an Early Years Meeting at Windsor Castle,” the entry reads, confirming her return to work.

Earlier this month, Kate shared an emotional video message on social media, announcing the completion of her chemotherapy treatment, which she had first revealed to the public on March 22. In the video, she reflected on her difficult journey. “As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,” she said.

Kate opened up about the challenges her family faced during her battle with cancer, explaining, “The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant, and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.”

In the heartfelt message, Kate also touched on how the illness reshaped her perspective, saying, “The cancer journey is complex, scary, and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you. With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything”, told NBC News.

Now that she has completed her treatment, Kate’s focus has shifted to maintaining her health. “Doing what I can to stay cancer-free is now my focus,” she emphasized in the video.

Throughout her treatment, Kate remained involved with her early years project, working from home when she could. However, she made only two public appearances during that time—once at Trooping the Colour in June and again at Wimbledon in July.

While Kate’s health will remain a priority, she is expected to take on more engagements in the coming months. A possible appearance at the Remembrance Sunday service on November 10 is on her schedule, where she would support the Royal Family, veterans, and their families. Additionally, Kate plans to host her annual carol concert at Westminster Abbey in December.
