Kanye West and Kim Kardashian allowed the birth of their daughter to be filmed. The reality TV star’s boyfriend refused to allow cameras for her series, ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians,’ to record any footage in the hospital on Saturday (15.06.13), but gave her mother and manager, Kris Jenner, permission to film the arrival of their baby girl, who was born five weeks premature at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
But a source told gossip website that the footage is for family members only and insisted it will not be used for an E! reality special. The professional crew accompanied Kim to her obstetrician when she began having strong labour pains on Friday but were told to leave the hospital by her rapper boyfriend as soon as he arrived.
The insider said: ”Kim was extremely upset because she wasn’t due for another month. She was in pain and didn’t know what was happening. The camera crew from ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians‘ had been with her all week. ”Kim was taken to Cedars, and cameras followed her there. The camera crew did attempt to accompany Kim into the hospital. When Kanye arrived, he told them to get lost, which they did. Kanye didn’t want this precious moment to be documented for TV.
”Kim’s momager, Kris, who was in the delivery room, filmed portions of it for family viewing only. Kanye told Kris when she could film.” Kim’s older sister Kourtney, 34, previously allowed footage of both of her children, Mason, three, and Penelope, 11 months, being born, that was captured on home video cameras, to be used for reality TV specials. – Tv3
