Jennifer Lawrence will be parting ways with the X-Men franchise following her forthcoming film, X-Men: Apocalypse.Â

The 24-year-old actress said she’ll no longer be seen as the blue shapeshifting mutant Raven Darkholm/Mystique after the movie’s release on May 27.Â
‘It’s my last one,’ the Oscar winner told MTV during a screening of her new movie Serena. X-Men: Apocalypse will be Lawrence’s third time seen in the high-grossing franchise. The film also stars her ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult.

She was also featured in 2011’s X-Men: First Class and 2014’s X-Men: Days Of Future Past, following Rebecca Romijn’s roles as the same character in the original X-Men trilogy.Â
There are reported to be at least two more spin-offs in the works, Gambit and another Wolverine film. And while the Hunger Games star won’t be back, she does still have a pretty packed schedule. Jennifer’s newest movie,

Serena – which co-stars her ‘work husband’ Bradley Cooper – will be released in the US on Friday after showing at film festivals in 2014. The final Hunger Games movie, Mockingjay – Part 2, will follow in November, with Jennifer playing the heroic Katniss Everdeen for the fourth and last time.Â
The actress is currently filming a new project with her Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle director, David O. Russell. In the movie, Joy, Jennifer will star as a single mother who found success after inventing the Miracle Mop.Â

Joy also features Jennifer’s Silver Linings Playbook co-stars Bradley and Robert De Niro in major roles. The movie has been scheduled for a North American premiere on Christmas Day of this year and has been filming in Massachusetts since February.
