So David Beckham’s younger sister Joanne was evidently keen to show off her newly-svelte figure in an extremely daring, plunging black dress as she toasted her 31st birthday at London’s DSTRKT nightclub on Tuesday night.
But it would seem the blonde had taken full advantage of the birthday tipples on offer, as she almost ended her night with a wardrobe malfunction of epic proportions as she emerged from the club looking decidedly worse for wear. Cut almost to the navel, the football superstar’s sibling’s sequin encrusted dress was a daring choice at the best of times, particularly given her busty frame.
But as she staggered out of the nightspot assisted by a female friend bearing a giant birthday cake, Joanne risked revealing a little more than intended. Stumbling into a nearby taxi, the blonde suffered an excruciatingly near nip-slip as her plunging neckline grew wider as she sat down. And if that wasn’t bad enough, the hem of Joanne’s daring frock rode up to give onlookers a little more than they bargained for.
Earlier in the day, she certainly seemed in the mood to party, writing on her Twitter page: ‘I’ve had soooo much love 2day !!! Really appriciate it xx thank u. Later adding to her friends: ‘I suggest u get ur dancin shoes out !!! And ask the boys 2 !!!!!’ Given that the birthday girl’s sister-in-law, Victoria Beckham, is one of the world’s most composed women, her somewhat undignified behaviour perhaps didn’t go down too well with the rest of the family. In spite of her near-miss in the wardrobe malfunction stakes, Joanne’s choice of dress made sure to parade her recent weight loss in all its glory.
After losing three stone and four dress sizes late last year, the blonde thanked brother David, 37, and sister Victoria, 38, for their support. She told OK! magazine: ‘David and Victoria are always very supportive of whatever I want to do.’ Joanne’s superstar relatives weren’t on hand to see her toast her 31st birthday, with the family currently on a short break in Paris, where they are celebrating son Cruz’s eighth birthday on Wednesday. – Dailymail
