Charlotte Dawson is keeping it real when it comes to her experience with motherhood.
The former Celebs Go Dating star, 28, welcomed son Noah with fiancé Matt Sarsfield last month, and it’s not all been smooth-sailing since.
The star shared honest snaps of her lowest points as a mother, admitting that she’s been breast feeding her son for nearly a month.
What’s more, Charlotte said that at one point, it felt like her nipples would “fall off”.
“The sleepless nights, the cluster feeding & how painful it was on my t**ties… but I carried on & stayed strong,” she told fans.
Looking far from her glam self, Charlotte showed fans just how difficult motherhood can be as she posted eye-opening snaps on social media.
“This is when I was at my most exhausted drained emotional state and wanted to give up,” she explained.
Charlotte wrote: “I’m not gonna sugar coat it, it’s hard.. your on demand constantly I feel like I can’t get anything done.
“But it’s so rewarding and the pain gets less & less and doesn’t hurt anymore it’s crazy.”
She went on: “So glad I did stick to it because it got so much better, I mean the first latch still makes ya bunions curl… I’m not going to put pressure on myself though, as I know people say breast is best.. but fed is best.
“If I do a few more weeks or a few more months amazing but if I can’t I’m not a failure.”
Since becoming a mum, Charlotte has been praised for her honesty on Instagram.
She’s shared videos of her stretch marks which she’s branded “tiger stripes”.
Announcing the birth of her son last month, Charlotte shared a picture of herself in hospital on Instagram.
“I did it…” she wrote alongside the snap.
Charlotte added the picture showed her in labour and revealed she “did most of it at home” before heading to hospital.
The telly star wrote: “Thank you for all your messages. Love you all.”
Matthew added several pictures of Charlotte in hospital and wrote: “Mum and baby doing well. Thanks for all the messages.”
