Carrie Underwood pregnant. The former ‘American Idol’ winner, 31, and husband Mike Fisher announced on Twitter tonight (01.09.14) that they’re expecting their first child together. The blonde beauty posted a picture of her sitting with her two dogs Ace and Penny wearing T-shirts saying: “I’m going to be a big brother,” and, “I’m going to be a big sister.”Alongside the adorable snap, she tweeted: “In honor of “Labor” Day…Ace & Penny would like to make an announcement. Their parents couldn’t be happier! (sic).” The new parents-to-be, who began dating in 2008 after meeting at one of her concerts, became engaged in December 2009 and tied the knot six months later at The Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation, in Greensboro, Georgia, in front of 250 guests.Meanwhile, Carrie previously praised her husband for having the ability to calm her nerves before a big performance. She said in June this year: “If I’m nervous, he’ll be like, ‘C’mon, you have nothing to be nervous about. Just go do what you do and take a deep breath and say a little prayer and you’re good to go.’ Just being able to get a little kiss and go about my way, it definitely has a calming effect.”
