Britney Spears was asked about her return to the London stage during a BBC chat on Wednesday (28Sep16), and when the botched backflip came up, she confessed she suddenly had a mini-panic attack onstage.

“I freaked out,” she said. “I put my hands up and there was a new guy there. “Usually I have my signature guy who helps me with it, every night for the past three years. But it was this new guy.” “It wasn’t his first day but it was his first time to touch my back and I couldn’t do it,” Spears added. “He’s actually more muscly than the (usual) guy and I should’ve been more confident.” The slip-up didn’t upset fans, who included Sam Smith and Rita Ora – they were thrilled as Britney ripped through her greatest hits, including …Baby One More Time, Toxic and Womanizer.
