Nikki Bella discusses wanting a 2nd child in the future after Matteo and making her WWE return with Brie Bella

Nikki Bella and Brie Bella may have hung up their wrestling boots while embracing parenthood for the first and second time, respectively, last year, but The Bella Twins believe they have one last run in WWE still left. During a recent episode of The Bellas Podcast, Nikki and Brie discussed candidly a potential WWE return.

Via Fightful, Nikki confessed that she really wants to do a WWE return with her sister and specifically go after the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. It’s one wish the 37-year-old wrestler hopes to fulfil before retiring for good; one last WWE run. Nikki envisions putting all her “desire and passion” which she used to have into that final run.

While Nikki admitted that her previous run with Ronda Rousey at Evolution 2018 was a difficult time due to her breakup with John Cena and being back in WWE so quick, Brie disclosed that she wasn’t much help to her sibling as it was hard for her too, due to separation anxiety with her daughter Birdie Danielson. Brie further added that they were so busy and couldn’t even keep up with time.

Nikki, who welcomed son Matteo Chigvintsev in 2020, also shared how she wants a second baby in the near future which could also be a potential hold up for her WWE return. “I want to go back and have my last run be everything I want it to be and you want it to be. So that means I get pregnant in 2023? I don’t want to be pregnant at 40. So, I’m having a tough time,” Nikki shared while Brie noted, “I know you want to do a WWE run before pregnancy.”

While Brie pointed out that in the next year or two, they’ll make sure that their dream WWE run happens, the 37-year-old wrestler quizzed her sister on how her neck has been. “I guess I have been talking about this run as if I’m cleared, which I’m not cleared to wrestle. I saw a doctor last week who is starting to help me with neck strengthening exercises. I’m working on doing everything I can to increase bone growth with bone fusion and helping herniation,” Nikki revealed.

While noting how she’s not done any hardcore impact since her Evolution 2018 match against Ronda, Nikki is hopeful that the herniation that happened above her bone fusion has gotten better. In order for her potential final WWE run, Nikki has to get MRIs and scans and they have to discuss things.

“They will see this incredible growth and say, ‘You’re strong, here are your limits, but this is what you can do.’ I need to start that a year out. We’ll see what a year does, how good the bone grows, how strong my neck can get. Say prayers for me,” Nikki stated before adding how she will continue to work on strengthening her neck with the hopes to get cleared for one final WWE run at some point next year.
