Ruby Rose Langenheim (born 20 March 1986), better known as Ruby Rose, is an Australian model, DJ, recording artist, actress, television presenter, and former MTV VJ. She joined the Girlfriend model search in 2002, coming in second to Catherine McNeil. She then became an MTV VJ for TRL in Australia, and in July 2009, began hosting The 7pm Project, a news talk show in Australia.
Ruby hosted Asutralia’s version of Ultimate School Musical in 2010, and became a correspondent for the Winter Olympics in 2010. In 2015, she joined the cast of Orange Is The New Black as Stella Carlin. Ruby also has a fashion line and is the face of Maybelline New York in Australia. Additionally, she released the song “Guilty Pleasure” in 2012.

Ruby came out as a lesbian when she was just 12 years old. In 2008, she was rumored to be dating Jessica Origliasso from The Veronicas, although they claimed to just be friends. She also dated America’s Next Top Model contestant Lola Van Vorst, and was engaged to Lyndsey Anne McMillan, but they broke things off in 2009. She got engaged to supermodel Catherine McNeil in 2010, but they called it off later that year. As of June 2015, she is engaged to Phoebe Dahl, who is the daughter of author Roald Dahl.
