Savannah Chrisley, reality star and daughter of imprisoned TV personalities Todd and Julie Chrisley, delivered a fiery speech at the Republican National Convention, accusing prosecutors of targeting her family because of their public profile and conservative beliefs.

Her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, known for their reality series “Chrisley Knows Best,” are currently serving prison sentences after being convicted of federal fraud and tax charges in 2022. They are in the process of appealing their convictions.

During her speech, Savannah Chrisley said, “You may have seen my family on TV, but for the past decade we have been persecuted by rogue prosecutors in Fulton County due to our public profile.” The mention of Fulton County drew significant attention from the crowd, as it is the same jurisdiction where former President Donald Trump and several associates are facing racketeering charges related to attempts to overturn the 2020 election results.

“I know, Fulton County,” Chrisley remarked, “They know how to do it, alright, due to our public profile and conservative beliefs”, told Celebuzz.

Chrisley further criticized what she perceives as a biased justice system, stating, “Justice is supposed to be blind, but today we have a two-faced justice system. Just look at what they are doing to President Trump, all along. Let’s face it, Hunter Biden is roaming around free and attending classified meetings.”

President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, was convicted last month on three federal gun charges and faces a trial on tax charges later this year. In addition, other Democrats have recently faced legal consequences. Earlier today, Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ), former chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, was convicted on a series of bribery charges.

Savannah Chrisley’s speech underscores her belief that her family is unfairly targeted because of their political stance and public visibility. By drawing parallels between her parents’ legal battles and the ongoing high-profile cases involving political figures, Chrisley aims to highlight what she views as a systemic bias against conservatives in the judicial system.

Her passionate address at the convention reflects a growing sentiment among some conservatives who feel that legal actions against prominent figures like Donald Trump are politically motivated. Savannah Chrisley’s defense of her parents, coupled with her broader critique of the justice system, resonates with those who share her perspective on political persecution and judicial fairness.
