Late Glee star Naya Rivera‘s dad George is bashing with her ex-husband Ryan Murphy. Just days after Naya‘s tragic passing last July, the Glee creator spoke out about his intent to create a college fund for her son, Josey Dorsey.
However, according to George, it hasn’t happened. Naya‘s father took to Twitter and claimed that Ryan has been full of “Broken Promises,” “fake outrage” and “hollow gestures.” He also claimed that there had been no phone calls despite Ryan saying that he had spoken to her family following her death.
“Everyone needs to know what Ryan Murphy really did … or didn’t do !!! I’m about to blow up this story …. and make sure he’s knows that I know,” George wrote. He added in a reply to a fan, saying that “When you are part of the Hollywood elite, some people treat others as they are ‘less than’ …. vocalize a good game, but it’s as shallow as the sets on stage , that they create.”
If you didn’t know, the 33-year-old actress went missing on July 8 while boating with her 4-year-old son Josey at California’s Lake Piru. An investigation was launched to find Rivera after authorities found her son alone on a boat in the middle of the lake, which is located about 50 miles north of Los Angeles.
On July 13, the Ventura County Sheriff’s department said that a body had been found at Lake Piru and confirmed to be Rivera’s. The body was discovered floating at the surface of the lake by personnel searching by boat early Monday morning.
