Kris Jenner, 68, has always been open about her health issues, with cameras capturing her journey through a hip replacement and numerous doctor’s appointments. In the latest episode of “The Kardashians,” the family matriarch revealed to her daughters that she will be undergoing surgery to remove her ovaries after doctors discovered a cyst and a tumor.

“I wanted to tell you guys something because I hadn’t told you yet, but I went to the doctor and I had my scan,” Kris tearfully shared with Khloe, Kourtney, Kim Kardashian, and Kendall Jenner. “They found a cyst and a little tumor on my ovary, and so I went to the doctor and Dr. A [Dr. Thaïs Aliabadi] said I’ve got to have my ovaries taken out. I’m just really emotional about it because they came in handy with you guys”, told The Sun.

Her voice cracked as she expressed her heartbreak over this significant change. “It’s also a thing about getting older and it’s a sign we’re done with this part of life,” she cried. “It’s a whole chapter that has just closed. It’s so silly.”

In an on-camera interview, Kris elaborated on her emotional state regarding the oophorectomy. “I’m emotional about it because that’s where all my kids were conceived and that’s where they were grown, in my tummy. It’s a very sacred place for me. People often ask me what’s the best job I’ve ever had, and I’ve always said mom. The biggest blessing in my life was being able to give birth to six beautiful kids”, via Daily Mail.

The preview for the next week’s episode shows the family rallying around Kris as she prepares for her operation, offering support and comfort during this challenging time.

Kris’ latest health scare follows her hip replacement surgery two years ago due to excruciating pain. At that time, she also expressed emotional distress about the implications of aging. “The pain that I’ve been feeling seems to be getting in the way of my life and that is not something that I can really tolerate or have the patience for,” she said in a 2022 episode of the Hulu series. “I have this beautiful fabulous life and I have so many kids and grandkids that I want to share it with. All I want to do is fix the problem and move on so I can live the best, longest life possible.”

Reflecting on the physical challenges she has faced, Kris added, “You just realize you don’t have that much more time. Suddenly, I can’t do all the things… My hip goes out, my knee is torn. I have an eye infection, I can’t see. I have the TV up too loud and Corey says I can’t hear. It’s like I feel like Humpty Dumpty.”

As Kris navigates this next chapter, her vulnerability and strength shine through, reminding fans of the importance of family and the inevitable changes that come with aging.
