Kim Kardashian West has remained tight-lipped about her divorce proceedings from Kanye West but has recently dropped a major bombshell in the form of a cryptic post.
The mother-of-four officially filed for divorce last week after their relationship became strained in recent months following a string of social media outbursts by Kanye.
Kim, 40, has now dropped a cryptic post suggesting that she was missing the Bound 2 rapper who she married in 2014.
Sadly, their fairytale marriage came tumbling down just shy of seven years after the pair said “I do” in front of hundreds of guests and a camera crew.
Now, Keeping Up With The Kardashians legend Kim has hinted that she could be reflecting on the breakdown of her marriage.
As she made her way to Kardashian-Jenner matriarch Kris Jenner’s Palm Spring home, Kim revealed that she was listening to the international hit song Drivers License by Olivia Rodrigo.
On her video clip, Kim typed the emojis for a knife as well as green, white, brown and black hearts.
The lyrics to the clip that she opted to share suggest that the soon-to-be lawyer is missing her estranged husband.
The lyrics “All my friends are tired, of hearing how much I miss you but I kinda feel sorry for them, cause they’ll never know you the way that I do, yeah,” played in the background.
They continued: “Today I drove through the suburbs and pictured I was driving home to you and I know we weren’t perfect but I’ve never felt this way for no one and I just can’t imagine how you could be so okay, now that I’m gone.”
Last month, sources close to Kim revealed to Daily Star that the businesswoman and Kanye were going through marriage counselling but divorce was very much on the cards.
Now, it’s been reported by TMZ that Mrs Kardashian West is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their four children, North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, two, and Psalm, one, which Kanye has agreed to.
Neither Kim nor Kanye are believed to be contesting the pre-nup that they had signed with sources claiming they are almost close to settling a property agreement.
Documents by divorce lawyer Laura Wasser don’t list an official date that the couple separated but their split has been heavily documented on social media.
It was during Kanye’s presidential rally on July 4 that the musician sensationally claimed that he and Kim had discussed aborting their eldest child, North.
He later went on a tweeting spree, calling Kim’s mother, Kris Jenner, Kris Jong-Un and saying he had previously thought about calling time on his marriage.
The once happy lovers met in the early 2000s and officially started dating in 2012 after he professed his love on his single, Cold, with the lyrics: “I’ll admit, I had fell in love with Kim, around the same time she had fell in love with him,” referencing Kim’s relationship with Kris Humphries.
