While shooting the video in Nashville, Bon Jovi and his team noticed a woman standing dangerously close to the edge of the bridge. According to PEOPLE, the Nashville Police Department later released a video showing Bon Jovi approaching the woman, calmly talking to her, and encouraging her to step away from the ledge. Another bystander joined him as they slowly coaxed the woman to safety.
Though the exact words exchanged remain unclear, the group’s efforts worked. Footage shows Bon Jovi and the bystander helping her back over the railing before walking away together.
