Two years after her split from husband Kody Brown, Janelle Brown has embarked on a new chapter, marked by purchasing a new home. This significant move comes after enduring emotional challenges, including the tragic loss of her son and navigating the complexities of a plural marriage.

Janelle Brown’s recent purchase underscores her independence and commitment to building a fulfilling future for herself and her children. The “Sister Wives” star made a substantial step forward by buying a $289,000 property in Chocowinity, North Carolina. The 156-acre agricultural property was reportedly bought on March 28, two years after her separation from Kody, the father of her six children.

The choice of this new home is strategic, as it’s less than a 30-minute drive from her daughter, Maddie Brown, who resides in Greenville. Maddie moved to Greenville in July 2021 with her husband, Caleb Brush, and their three children, creating a close-knit family circle in North Carolina.

Janelle and Kody’s spiritual union began in 1993, and together, they raised Logan, Maddie, Hunter, Gabriel, Savanah, and their late son, Garrison, per documents obtained by In Touch. Although Janelle’s purchase of this new property symbolizes her commitment to forging her path, she has previously reflected on the connection she once had with Kody.

In a teaser for the 12th episode of season 18, titled “The Elephant in the Room,” Janelle confessed that she would do it all over again, emphasizing that she harbored no regrets. The reality TV star became visibly emotional as she admitted, “Our love might have reached its limits.” Janelle’s acceptance of the end of her marriage was marked by an unsuccessful reconciliation attempt. Kody had previously made a heartfelt effort to mend their relationship on her birthday, taking her to a luxurious restaurant in Arizona. However, the evening soured when Kody sought a goodnight kiss, a gesture Janelle was not inclined to reciprocate.

In her confessional, Janelle revealed that even holding hands with Kody “just didn’t feel right anymore.” Her recent home purchase is just one of many significant changes she has undergone since the heartbreaking loss of her son, Garrison.

Last month, Janelle took a fun trip to Disneyland with her children, Gabriel and Savanah. The heartwarming photo shared on her Instagram showed her beaming with happiness, wearing Minnie Mouse ears and a vibrant floral blouse. In the caption, Janelle wrote, “Disney Day! Gabe, Savanah, and I made a quick trip to Disneyland. I never want to waste an opportunity to make memories.”

Fans flooded the comments with admiration. One follower gushed, “Love it. Y’all deserve happiness!!!” Others described the photo as “so precious” and “cute!!!” while another urged, “Enjoy life with them every minute.”

As Janelle Brown embarks on this new chapter, her story serves as an inspiring testament to resilience even in the face of profound loss and change.
