On the joint father-daughter Instagram account @larryanddannielynn, her father, Larry Birkhead, shared a rare glimpse into their latest adventure: attending the Power Morphicon convention in Pasadena, California. The post detailed how Dannielynn got to meet some of her favorite actors from Japanese live-action television, an experience that clearly brought her immense joy.
“Dannielynn got to meet some of her favorite actors from Japanese live-action television,” the caption read. “She was so excited to meet @maaaaaaaasahiro (Masahiro Inoue) who plays ‘Decade’ from ‘Kamen Rider Decade’ that she was overcome with joy. She was also excited to meet @yuikoike_official (Gokai Pink) and @ozawa_ryota (Gokai Red) from ‘Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger.’ @yasuhisa_furuhara0813 (Go-on Red) from ‘Engine Sentai Go-Onger’ was another of her favorites.”
But the excitement didn’t stop there. Dannielynn also embraced her love of cosplay at the convention, transforming into three different characters from the “Kamen Rider” series. The post shared details of her cosplay choices: “Dannielynn cosplayed three different ‘Kamen Rider’ characters at the event. First up was ‘Hino Eiji,’ followed by ‘Ankh’ (@ryosuke.miura216), and to finish the convention off, she cosplayed Ankh possessing Eiji from the ‘Kamen Rider OOO 10th: Core Medal of Resurrection’ movie, complete with Ankh’s (Greeed) bird-style hand and feather-infused hair.”
The post also mentioned that this event was the first stop in a pre-celebration for Dannielynn’s upcoming birthday on September 7. “The countdown begins now!” the caption enthusiastically added.
As Dannielynn’s birthday approaches, it’s clear that she’s gearing up in an ultra-cool way, showcasing her love of anime and dress-up, just like her mom. But as her father Larry Birkhead pointed out in an interview with People in 2023, Dannielynn is making this hobby her own. He shared that she’s already snagged some of Anna Nicole’s clothing, although she has her own distinct style. “There’s some T-shirts and different things she fits in, but there’s also some things that she’ll say, ‘Dad, no thanks, that’s not my style,’” Larry said, adding that some pieces will have to wait until later, as they are “a bit more revealing and low-cut.”
It’s clear that while Dannielynn is following in her mother’s footsteps in some ways, she’s also carving out her own path, blending her mother’s legacy with her own unique flair.
