Lady Gaga took her risque and edgy look down a few notches. The eccentric entertainer’s softer and feminine new look was a breath of fresh air as she hit up Kitson Kids in Los Angeles.
Lady Gaga – aka Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta – arrived to the trendy shop on busy Robertson Boulevard in a chauffeur-driven SUV just hours ahead of her Sunday concert.
The star was apparently shopping for a gift for Elton John’s second son, Elijah, who was born to the rock star and his partner David Furnish on January 11. Heads no doubt turned when Lady Gaga stepped onto the curb wearing a maxi-length and quite loud floral dress with puff sleeves and skyscraper nude platform heels. Lady Gaga’s glee over the birth of Elton’s second child radiated from every hue in her dress.
The Poker Face singer also borrowed a look from an old-fashioned Southern belle when she added a floppy white hat to the ensemble. Wearing her honey-hued hair long and curled at the ends, Lady Gaga kept her eyes hidden behind large white-frame shades. Lady Gaga and the Candle in the Wind singer are the best of friends, and she’s godmother to Elton and David Furnish’s two-year-old son Zachary.
Elton and David announced the birth of their second son on the singer’s website, saying that ‘are very pleased to announce the birth of their child Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John on Friday, January 11.’ The 65-year-old English rock star even stood up for Gaga in August after she was slammed by Madonna. ‘Her career’s over,’ Elton fumed about Madonna during an interview with the Australian TV show Sunday Night. ‘And she looks like a f—ing fairground stripper.’
‘She’s been so horrible to Gaga,’ he added. Gaga no doubt wanted to find something special for little Elijah before her Born This Way concert at the Staples Centre. The often controversial singer was in full bloom on Sunday night, stripping on stage, groping a female dancer while wearing the American flag and donning her infamous meat dress. She had several costume changes, and spent much of the show in various states of undress including a bikini top, fishnet tights and leather trousers. – Dailymail
