She’s not one to be shy when it comes to her body. But Lady Gaga’s fans may not have expected to see so much of her as she greeted them outside the Chateau Marmont hotel on Thursday. The 27-year-old was lucky to avoid an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction while wearing a breath-takingly tight cutout bra dress.
The structured black satin dress revealed the musician’s slender shoulders and ample assets. Gaga teamed the revealing number with elbow length leather opera gloves, matching platform boots and a black clutch. Her hair slicked back into a sleek up ‘do, Gaga introduced the only colourful element of her outfit by daubing streaks of bright paint across her face.
The kabuki style make-up has become rather a trademark of the Telephone singer over recent days, after she wore it on the cover of her latest album, ARTPOP. She was also seen sporting the rainbow-coloured pigment in the lyric video for her song Applause, which she released on Wednesday.
Leaving the hotel on her way to the studio, Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, greeted her Little Monsters, as her fans have styled themselves.
Signing autographs, exchanging hugs and posing for photographs, the Mother Monster had cause to celebrate. Upon hearing the news that she was the number one artist on iTunes, and that ARTPOP was the top selling album and Applause the number one single, Lady Gaga tweeted: ‘We are so happy!’ The pop sensation was forced to release the Applause lyrics video ahead of schedule yesterday after it was leaked online.
It was an extremely quick turnaround considering she only filmed it on Monday at gay nightclub Micky’s in West Hollywood, California. Gaga was spotted leaving her hotel yesterday wearing similar face paints, however she covered up in a long black cape and matching trousers.
