Lara Bingle put her modelling cap back on and proved her glamorous credentials to star in a swimwear photo shoot. The Australian model posed in a number of edgy bathing suits and bikinis for the fashionable endeavour, showing off the fabulous results of her 26lbs weight loss.
Oozing sex appeal, Lara, 26, seemed to be very much back on stylish form. Not that all the items of clothing were appropriate as she wore a black leather jacket with chunky black trainers with a bikini top and a wetsuit tied around her waist on the hot beach.
But it was no doubt an aesthetically-pleasing wardrobe for Lara, who got to strut around in a mixture of patterns and colours, from a leopard print swimsuit to a blue and white bikini with a string jumper. Walking the beach, leaning back on a rock and straddling the bannister to some patio stairs were just a few of the poses the former Australia’s Next Top Model guest treated the photographer too.
But Lara probably wanted to attention to be on her body, after losing nearly two stone in the last year. She discussed her weightloss in a recent interview and how after being at her heaviest weight of 139lbs, she slimmed down with the aid of Pilates and smoothies and her boyfriend, fashion designer Gareth Moody, who was one of her biggest motivators.
Lara told Australia’s Who magazine that her beau of 13 months helped influence her new healthy lifestyle: ‘(I) got rid of everything that was weighing me down,’ she said. ‘I’ve learnt you’ve got to be consistent in your eating and training. Gareth’s taught me that.’
Although she’s known on Australian TV for competing on Dancing on Ice and starring in a number of high profile ads, Lara has become a household name after landing her own reality show, Being Lara Bingle, which began airing last year.
Taking her new found stardom in her stride, the reality star seems happy and healthy as she’s clearly able to fit in lots of relaxation time between shooting. The Aussie beauty, who became known for her penchant for hunky sports stars after dating Australian cricketer Michael Clarke, AFl footballer Brendon Fevola and Kelly Brook’s ex Danny Cipriani, has turned her attention to the fashion world.
Currently dating Moody, Lara finally seems to have found the one having been together for over a year and making it one of Lara’s longest relationships, with rumours that an engagement might soon be on the cards.
