Britney Spears is pregnant! The singer shared a long heartfelt note on Instagram to announce she is expecting her first child with fiance Sam Asghari.
Britney Spears on Monday announced that she is pregnant. The American singer took to Instagram and revealed that she is expecting a baby with her fiance Sam Asghari. Britney Spears’ pregnancy news comes five months after her controversial 13-year conservatorship ended.
The singer, 40, shared a long heartfelt note to share the joyous news with her fans and followers. In her pregnancy announcement post, she also talked about perinatal depression and performing yoga.
“I lost so much weight to go on my Maui trip only to gain it back. I thought, ‘Geez what happened to my stomach?’ My husband said, ‘No you’re food pregnant silly’. So I got a pregnancy test and uhhhhh…well I am having a baby,” Britney wrote.
“4 days later, I got a little more food pregnant! It’s growing! If 2 are in there I might just lose it,” she added.
Britney Spears also revealed she won’t be stepping out much due to the paparazzi situation. ”I obviously won’t be going out as much due to the paps getting their money shot of me like they unfortunately already have,” she said.
“It’s hard because when I was pregnant I had perinatal depression…I have to say it is absolutely horrible…women didn’t talk about it back then! Some people considered it dangerous if a woman complained like that with a baby inside her…but now women talk about it every day. Thank Jesus we don’t have to keep that pain a reserved proper secret,” she wrote.
She revealed her fitness plans during pregnancy as well. “This time I will be doing yoga every day! Spreading lots of joy and love,” she concluded her note.
Meanwhile, Sam Asghari also shared an emotional note about fatherhood on Instagram. “Marriage and kids are a natural part of a strong relationship filled with love and respect. Fatherhood is something I have always looked forward to and I don’t take it lightly. It is the most important job I will ever do,” he wrote.
Britney Spears is already a mother to two sons, Sean and Jayden, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline. She got engaged to Sam Asghari in September 2021.
