Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson, once close friends, are reportedly experiencing tension as Shelton fears losing his bond with Clarkson to his ex-wife, Miranda Lambert.

An insider recently revealed to Life & Style that Shelton is feeling insecure now that Lambert is building a friendship with Clarkson. “Kelly was Team Blake for a long, long time, and Gwen, too, by default,” the source explained, referring to Shelton’s wife, Gwen Stefani.

The source further shared that as Kelly has gotten to know Miranda better, she’s begun to question the narrative she previously heard from Blake. “She doesn’t know what Blake’s talking about now,” the insider noted, adding that after hearing Miranda’s perspective, Kelly has come to the conclusion that “Miranda’s not a baddie at all.”

“In fact, she’s a sweetheart,” the source claimed. “Kelly’s willing to offer her support and be kind and generous, even if it risks her friendship with Blake.” The source suggested that Kelly’s newfound understanding of Miranda could lead to a shift in her loyalties.

The insider continued, “Of course, Miranda’s putting on the charm. She certainly knows Kelly is close to Blake.” They hinted that Miranda might be trying to sway Kelly’s opinion, knowing the history she shares with Shelton.

“No one would put it past Miranda to try and steal Kelly away and fill her head with negative things about Blake,” the source speculated. “Kelly is incredibly nice but also gullible, and the concern is that she might believe anything.”

This development highlights the complex dynamics between the three stars, as Blake reportedly worries that his friendship with Kelly could be impacted by Miranda’s influence.
