There are 12 years between Demi Lovato 23, and 35-year-old Wilmer, and the ‘That ’70s Show’ star was initially unsure whether he wanted to date a younger lady. While Demi Lovato was convinced that she loved Wilmer as soon as they met, she added: ”He had some hesitations. Once I got older, we could be together. He’s my best friend.” Demi recently posted a picture of herself and her boyfriend on Instagram with the caption ”6”.
But she clarified that the number didn’t actually represent the couple’s anniversary. She added to Entertainment Tonight: ”Everyone thinks it’s our six-year anniversary. We met six years ago!” Demi also spoke this week about her and Wilmer’s plans for Valentine’s Day next month. With both of them having successful careers, they certainly don’t want for anything. So the couple came up with a cute tradition of how to mark the romantic occasion.
She told E! News: ”I don’t have his gift yet, but we like to do things that when you’re in a position where you guys can get anything and you already have everything, what do you do for each other that’s special and that you have to create yourself? I’m looking forward to that.”
