Homemade Face Packs to Fight Acne Scars

As little kids, didn’t we all want to be grown ups? To apply our mommy’s lipstick and wear her heels. Little did we know that with puberty comes icky, puss-filled pimples that leave behind nasty scars.Well, if the marks refuse to leave your pretty face, worry not. These natural face packs that can be made in your kitchen will help you get rid of acne scars in no time.

Tulsi, Mint & Lemon Juice Face Pack

Place a few tulsi leaves, mint leaves and three tbsp of lemon juice into the blender. Blend the ingredients to form a smooth paste. Clean your face before applying the pack. Allow the pack to stay for 20 minutes and then rinse off with lukewarm water.

Fenugreek Seeds & Rose Water Face Pack

Soak a handful of fenugreek seeds overnight. In the morning, drain the excess water and blend to form a smooth paste. Add two tbsp of rose water to the fenugreek paste and apply on the affected area. Allow the pack to stay for 20 minutes and then rinse off with cold water.

Honey & Tomato Face Pack

Blend half a ripe tomato into a smooth paste using little water. Add one tbsp of honey to this mixture and mix well. Apply the mixture on your face with the help of a flat brush. Allow the pack to stay for 15 minutes and then wash off using cold water.

Neem Leaves & Rose Water Face Pack

Grind a handful of neem leaves into a thick paste using few drops of rose water. Before you apply the pack, cleanse and steam your pores, so that the extracts of neem enters your skin pores. Apply a thick layer of this pack and leave for 30 minutes. Rinse using lukewarm water.

Gram Flour, Turmeric & Yogurt Face Pack

Mix two tbsp of gram flour, half tsp of turmeric and three tbsp of fresh thick yogurt. Apply the pack on your face and leave until it dries completely. Wash your face using cold water.

Oatmeal, Lemon & Honey Face Pack

Blend two tbsp of oatmeal into a fine powder, add two tbsp of honey and half a freshly squeezed lime. Combine the ingredients and gently scrub on your wet face. Rinse with lukewarm water.

Orange Peel & Yogurt Pack

Grind dry orange rinds into fine powder. Add two tbsp of fresh thick curd to this powder and combine properly. Wipe your face with rose water and then apply the mask. Leave the mask to dry for 20 minutes. Now rinse with cold water.

Cucumber Face Mask

Grate cucumber and strain the juice. Refrigerate the pulp. When it’s cold enough, use the pulp to pick the juice and moisten your face, one spot at a time. Once you feel the pulp warm up, dip in the cold juice again and repeat for other spots. Apply the mixture and leave it on for a while and then wash off.
