The disturbing event occurred on Saturday, October 5, at the U Centre Apartments located on S College Avenue, near Hensel Park, told WTAW.

According to the police report, the victim was showering when she noticed a cell phone pointed at her. Realizing she was being filmed, she immediately yelled, prompting the man to flee the area. The incident took place around 5 p.m.

Authorities noted that there were no signs of forced entry into the apartment, raising concerns about how the suspect gained access. Police are urging residents in the area to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behavior.

The Texas A&M University Police Department is asking anyone with information regarding this crime or any similar incidents to come forward. Individuals are encouraged to contact them at 979-845-2345 as the investigation continues.

The university community is advised to take precautions, such as ensuring their doors and windows are securely locked, especially in shared housing complexes like the U Centre Apartments.
