An Adams County woman, Laura Lawson, 36, is facing multiple felony charges following a series of violent incidents involving the father of her 3-year-old child, as reported by Conewago Township Police.

According to charging documents, police were dispatched on October 2 to the 200 block of South Jefferson Street in response to reports of a woman on the hood of a vehicle. Lawson was identified at the scene but attempted to flee when officers arrived. She was found wearing a hospital identification bracelet and EKG pads.

The police report states that Lawson allegedly jumped onto the hood of the car, which her partner was inside. She proceeded to hit and spit on the car’s window before being shaken off the vehicle. Investigators later confirmed that her hospital bracelet and EKG pads were from an earlier incident involving the same man that day.

Earlier that day, Lawson had requested her partner come upstairs. Once there, she reportedly tackled him, biting his nose, according to the police report. The documents further detail that she pulled down his sweatpants, bit him on the buttocks, and said, “I love the taste of your blood.” Her partner attempted to escape to another room, but Lawson found him and demanded he “bow” to her. When he refused, she allegedly mounted him, hitting him multiple times in the face, resulting in a busted lip and other facial injuries.

Fearful of further violence, the man complied and got on his hands and knees. Lawson then forced him to simulate sexual acts involving a water bottle, as stated in the charging documents. After this incident, her partner managed to escape the room and tried to leave the residence. As he did, Lawson reportedly grabbed their car keys and their child before driving off.

Police reported that Lawson later returned to the residence, demanding that her partner, identified as Keller, get into the car with all his belongings. After he placed his laptop and other personal items in the vehicle, Lawson allegedly “displayed her middle finger” and drove away, striking a parked car and disabling the vehicle in the process.

Lawson eventually returned to South Jefferson Street, where she found her partner being driven by another individual. She then jumped onto the hood of the vehicle, as confirmed by police.

Lawson faces multiple charges for her actions, and the investigation is ongoing. Authorities are assessing the full extent of the incidents and working to ensure the safety of all involved parties.
