Entertainment industry beginner Mario Lopez shot to fame as the contestant in the much loved dance show ‘Dancing with the Stars’. He did not make it as a winner on the show ‘Dancing with the Stars’ but he did manage to make his mark as a dancer. After being on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ because of his good looks he managed to bag an assignment very soon after the season of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ came to an end. This 36 year old star of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ is again being given an opportunity to shine as a host and serve as the master of the live ceremony. This time it is not ‘Dancing with the Stars’ but he is being called in to be the hosting chaperone to a bunch of lovely girls, and many would love to be in his place. This former star of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ is hosting Miss America pageant host.
Ceremony of Miss America pageant is being held at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas and is being hosted by Mario Lopez. He also hosted the Miss America pageant in 2007 and 2009.
53 contestants will be competing in interview, swimsuit, and evening gown and talent competitions for the title of Miss America, as Mario Lopez calls upon them one after another.
