Royals fear ‘closing door’ on Harry could have ‘devastating consequences’ claims expert

Royals fear closing door on Harry could have 'devastating consequences

Angela Devlin, a royal author, claims ‘The Firm’ is worried about the mental health of the Duke of Sussex and believes “slamming the door” in his face could cause problems.

The Royal Family is worried about the consequences of outcasting Prince Harry amid concerns over his mental state, an expert claims.

Author of Harry: Conversations with the Prince, Angela Levin, took to Twitter to share her views on how the London-based relatives of the Duke of Sussex are feeling about severing ties with him.

She wrote: “My view is that Harry’s family in London are very worried about his mental health and think slamming the royal door in his face could have devastating consequences.”

Her tweet came as a reaction to an article posted on MailOnline which reports that Kate Middleton has told Harry that it’s not too late to turn back.

The 39-year-old Duchess of Cambridge is said to have ‘taken the same approach as The Queen’ before the bomb-shell Oprah interview in hoping that the ‘much-loved members of The Firm’ would return, according to royal expert Camilla Tominey.

However, it is debatable as to whether they could still be reeled back in as Harry continues to make more accusations against his relatives.

In the new documentary on Apple TV titled The Me You Can’t See, Harry says he was caught in a cycle of “pain and suffering” growing up as a member of the British royal family.

He also compared his upbringing to “‘The Truman Show’ and being in a zoo.”

But he and his wife Meghan Markle were already in hot water with the royals after they made accusations of racism within the Firm during their Oprah interview in March.

Since the royal drama kicked off, Kate Middleton has appeared to be the designated peacemaker between Harry and her husband, Prince William.

The heir to the throne has reportedly been disappointed with his brother for choosing fame over family and was the first to deny accusations of racism in the Palace as he told a journalist that they’re “not a racist family”.

However, yesterday, the Guardian revealed documents showing a ban on people from ethnic minority backgrounds from working in office roles within the palace which has lead others to think otherwise.

Facebook pages dedicated to the Sussex couple said: “They couldn’t even support their biracial in law, are we surprised they’re banning ethnic minorities from office roles? Absolutely not.”

The Sussex Squad podcast responded with: “I wonder if their recollections still vary? Also, how many black and ethnic minorities are they going to trot out to claim ‘they are very much not a racist family’ to counter this something that is written is a fact?

A Buckingham Palace spokesperson told the Guardian: “The royal household and the sovereign comply with the provisions of the Equality Act, in principle and in practice.

“This is reflected in the diversity, inclusion, and dignity at work policies, procedures, and practices within the royal household.

“Any complaints that might be raised under the act follow a formal process that provides a means of hearing and remedying any complaint.”
