Jennifer Aniston jealous of lookalike Vera Farmiga after losing ‘Sopranos’ role: Rumor

Jennifer Aniston is, allegedly, jealous of her look-alike and fellow actress Vera Farmiga after the latter was cast in Sopranos.

As per National Enquirer, Farmiga that was chosen by the producers and the directors as Jennifer Aniston was auditioned for the same role.

“Jen and Vera have been competitive for years and this defeat is the latest flare-up,” the source said.

After the latter was cast in The Departed, produced by Aniston’s ex-husband, Brad Pitt’s relationship with Aniston and Farmiga also faced some difficulty in the relationship. Though, the close contact of the Friends denied the news of the grudge.

“It was a project she and Brad were both involved in before he ran off with Angelina Jolie. Seeing Vera cast in the leading female role rubbed her the wrong way. That was a role Jen wanted and spent a lot of time talking to George about,” the source said.

The Sopranos sequel is in progress nowadays. And a source claimed that Aniston couldn’t help but revisit her jealousy towards Farmiga.

“She would have loved to be part of the prequel because they were so close and she felt personally connected to it, but it’s no stretch to say these two won’t be rubbing elbows anytime soon,” the source said.

Well! There is no proof found against Jennifer Aniston and Farmiga’s feud claim by the tabloid. Moreover, the news of being upset with the actress after she was cast in The Sopranos and not her is also untrue.

This week, after the release of the teaser for Friends reunion, highlighted the upcoming episode for the show will air on May 27. The Friends reunion will feature all the main cast members from the 90s, namely Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, and Matthew Perry.
