Jennifer Lopez ‘still has the $1.8m engagement ring’ Alex Rodriguez gave her

Jennifer Lopez is reported to have held onto the whopping $1.8 million engagement ring Alex Rodriguez gave her after they released a statement announcing their split

The couple officially proclaimed that their engagement was over today before Jennifer Lopez has reportedly fixed onto the giant $1.8 million engagement ring given to her by Alex Rodriguez following their split. After disputing reports of their break up, the couple announced in a statement that sadly they have chosen to end their relationship.

On the Today Show responded: “We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects.

We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.” According to that, insiders have deserved to TMZ that she’s still got the ring in her possession.

The person who proposed gets the ring back following a break-up but an engagement ring legally is a “gift in contemplation of marriage”, and more often than not. According to some sources, during their romance, the former couple hasn’t had any talks about what will happen to the ring and that they exchanged “massive amounts of jewelry”.

The Mirror has reached Jennifer and Alex’s representatives for comment that the former lovers put out a statement at the time, saying: “All the reports are inaccurate. We are working through some things.” and some added to that “They hit a rough patch that made them think about what they should do.”
