Disabled puppy ghosted by cruel new owners finally finds new family

A disabled puppy who was stood up by his new owners because of his condition has found a new home.

Jack, an American bulldog pup, joined his loving new family on Tuesday, just three weeks after the cruel no-show.

They had decided not to have Jack due to his spina bifida condition, but failed to cancel the meeting, according to shelter staff at Peaches Bully Rescue in Westchester, Ohio.

The excited puppy was left devastated, with shelter volunteers continuing to care for him.

The staff shared an excited post on Facebook this week, announcing the happy news that Jack has found a loving family.

The post read: “The much awaited news!! Jack has found his home!

“After multiple false starts in securing his fur-ever home, this little wiggle butt was excited to start the next chapter in his life.

“He has a human sister to love on him, lots of toys and diapers that this gracious community donated, and a new stroller to ride around in style.”

Jack was given a well-deserved pamper session at a local grooming salon to get him ready for his new family.

The salon bathed the pup, brushed his teeth, cleaned his ears and trimmed his claws, ready for his exciting new home.

After capturing hearts all across the world, Jack now has his very own Instagram account where his fans can keep up with his antics.

His loving family created the page after Jack’s misfortune sparked an outpouring of sympathy. They have shared photos of the pup enjoying playtime with his toys, sleeping and napping and having fun in the snow.

Jack suffers with spina bifida, which means that his rear feet are clubbed. His front legs are much stronger than his back limbs, and the poor pooch can’t walk very far.

He also has to wear a nappy, but staff at the shelter who looked after him said that he is relatively easy to care for and his needs are easy to meet.
